Residence Inn Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus
NOTE: As of May 9, the block of discounted rooms is sold out. We are working on adding additional rooms. This message will be updated when this is resolved. Thanks for your patience. If you are eager to make a reservation, the hotel still has rooms available at the standard rate.
The ARRE Foundation has a limited block of discounted hotel rooms available the Residence Inn Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus. The discounted room rate is $149 USD per night plus applicable taxes. Valet parking is available for $32/night.

We strongly encourage attendees to stay in this hotel due to its proximity to Kennedy Krieger Institute. Programming on Friday evening, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning also take place at this hotel.
To reserve a discounted room: Call the hotel at 443-524-8400 and reference group “ASXL Rare Research Endowment” or book online using the group reservation link.
Stays before or after July 17-21: The discounted room rate of $149 USD per night will be honored for stays of up to three days before and after the official conference dates (July 17-21). If you would like to book before or after these dates, you must call the hotel at 443-524-8400 to make your reservation. Follow the prompts to reach the front desk (not the reservations line).

Early registration (before May 15):
Trainees: $100
Academic/healthcare professionals: $200
Industry/corporate: $300
Regular registration (after May 15):
Trainees: $125
Academic/healthcare professionals: $250
Industry/corporate: $350
Includes lunch and coffee breaks/snacks on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19.
ASXL Family Conference
Friday, July 19 - Sunday, July 21
Family attendees: “Pay what you can” rate of $0-$50 per person (suggested fee is $50 per person)
Non-family attendees: $50 per person
Includes lunch and coffee breaks/snacks on Saturday, July 20. Please note breakfast is included for those staying at the Residence Inn Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus.
ASXL Community Celebration dinner
Friday, July 19
Adults: $30 per person
Children: $10 per person
Non-oral feeding attendees: Complimentary
Includes buffet dinner, dessert, and one drink ticket per person - plus dancing and activities!
Pizza & Movie Night
Saturday, July 20
Adults: $10 per person
Children: $5 per person
Non-oral feeding attendees: Complimentary
Includes dinner and cash bar.

There are two primary locations for activities related to the ASXL Research Symposium and Family Conference:
Arnold J. Capute Conference Center at Kennedy Krieger Institute

The Arnold J. Capute Conference Center is located on the fourth floor of an office building that is part of the Kennedy Krieger Institute campus. The building is located on online maps as “Kennedy Krieger Institute Ashland Outpatient Center.”

Residence Inn Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus
The Residence Inn Baltimore at The Johns Hopkins Medical Campus is the designated hotel for the ASXL Research Symposium and Family Conference and the location of dinners on Friday and Saturday evening and family programming on Sunday morning. It is a 1.5 block walk (approximately 3 minutes on flat, level sidewalks) from the conference center at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Getting to Baltimore
